Acceptable Use Policy
Effective October 1, 2026 · Last updated October 17, 2026
This policy defines what may and may not be done with numbers and services supplied by VerveGlobe LLC. It applies to every account and to every downstream customer of every account.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all voice calls, messages, and number configurations made using numbers assigned by VerveGlobe, whether initiated by you or by your downstream customers. Where you act as a distributor, you must impose equivalent obligations on your downstream customers in writing.
2. Consent requirements
Where the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or applicable state law requires prior express consent, you must obtain it before initiating any call or message. Consent must be:
- Recorded — documented with timestamp, source, and the exact disclosure presented
- Specific — tied to the sender and the type of message, not inherited from another business
- Revocable — honored immediately on request, by any reasonable means
- Obtained directly — consent collected by a third party or a comparison site does not transfer to you
Note on existing customers: a prior purchase does not by itself authorise marketing calls or marketing text messages. Transactional messages about an existing order may be permissible; promotional messages require separate consent.
3. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited and constitute a material breach of your agreement:
- Cold calling, lead generation, or any contact with recipients who have not consented where consent is required
- Using purchased, rented, scraped, shared, or otherwise third-party contact lists
- Auto-dialing, predictive dialing, power dialing, or any system that places calls without a human initiating each call
- Pre-recorded voice messages, artificial or AI-generated voice, or voice cloning without compliant consent
- Bulk or marketing SMS/MMS to recipients without compliant consent
- Debt collection, telemarketing, or solicitation without documented consent and required licensing
- Impersonating any government agency, law enforcement, utility, or financial institution
- Tech-support scams, advance-fee schemes, robocall campaigns, or any fraudulent solicitation
- Adult content, unlicensed gambling, or unregistered securities and investment solicitation
- Number rotation, churning, or "spinning" intended to evade carrier filtering or complaint thresholds
- Caller ID manipulation, spoofing, or displaying a number the account does not control
- Traffic designed to test, probe, or exploit network vulnerabilities
- Any use that violates TCPA, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, CAN-SPAM, or applicable state or federal law
4. Messaging rules
- Application-to-person (A2P) messaging requires campaign registration (10DLC) or toll-free verification where applicable.
- Every message campaign must support and honour STOP, HELP, and equivalent opt-out keywords, and must suppress opted-out recipients immediately.
- Message frequency must be disclosed at opt-in. Sending substantially more than disclosed is a violation.
- Messages must identify the sender and provide a working opt-out path.
- Opt-out requests must be honoured within 24 hours; the recipient must not be re-added without fresh consent.
5. Number handling
- One-to-one binding. Each number is assigned to a single downstream customer and must not be shared or pooled across customers.
- No rotation. Numbers must not be rotated to avoid detection, filtering, or complaint thresholds.
- No stockpiling. Numbers must be provisioned for actual use. Numbers with no usage for 90 consecutive days may be reclaimed.
- Accurate caller identity. The number presented to a recipient must be one the account controls and is authorised to use.
6. Monitoring
We monitor provisioned numbers for signals of misuse, including per-number complaint rates, call duration patterns, outbound attempts inconsistent with the declared use case, carrier spam flags, and messaging opt-out rates. Where a signal crosses our review threshold, we may request information and may throttle traffic pending review.
7. Reporting abuse
Report suspected misuse of a VerveGlobe number to vivo@verveglobe.cn. Reports should include the number called or texting, the date and time, and a description of the contact. We acknowledge reports within one business day and act on credible reports within 24 hours.
8. Consequences
Violation may result in, in escalating order: written notice and required remediation; throttling of outbound capacity; suspension of numbers; termination of the account; and referral to carriers, regulators, or law enforcement where appropriate. Where a credible fraud or robocall report is received, suspension takes effect immediately without prior notice.
